To be specific, barcode size can be adjusted by setting Bar width (X), Bar height (Y), Image width, Image height, Left margin, Right margin, Text margin (only for linear barcodes) and Font. Bar Style refers to some special characteristics of some barcode symbologies such as Horizontal & Vertical Bearer bar (only for ITF-14), Wide to narrow bar ratio (only for Code 39), Short to tall bar ratio (only for Postnet, Planet), I (only for Code 39 as well).In addition, Users can let Word Barcode Add-In for linear barcodes display or hide the barcode data or even checksum character.
Barcode Image Displaying
As for the barcode image displaying, our word barcode ad-in allows users to set "Rotate" to change the angle of barcodes into 0, 90, 180, 270 degrees, Enable "Display barcode data" to show barcode data under the image inside the linear barcodes, and click "Display checksum char" to display the check digit at the last of the linear barcode data.
Besides, with Barcode Add-In for Word, Users can set Bar Alignment to put the barcode in Center, Left or Right side of the image.
Requirement for Barcode Add-In for Word Installation
For implementing this word barcode add-in, users need to make sure Windows Installer 3.1, .NET Framework 3.5 sp1, Microsoft office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies and Visual Studio 3.0 Runtime sp1 have been installed into your PC at first and then download the evaluation version of Word Barcode Add-In package. Insert Barcode in a Fixed Position of Word
Using this barcode add-in, users can easily insert a linear or 2D barcode directly into word document with just a few mouse clicks on the "barcode type", "data", "Bar width", "Bar height", "Rotate", "Bar Alignment", etc on "Barcode Settings" panel.
Integrate Barcode with Word Mailings
Word Barcode Add-In can be seamless integrated with Word Mailings to add linear or 2D barcodes. Users may switch to "Select Recipients" under "Mailings" to "Use an Existing List" or "Type New List" for inserting the target barcode. Then, you may switch to "Create barcode" in the "Add-Ins" tab to let "Barcode Settings" pop up. After that all related properties that you need are customizable, like "barcode type", "data", "Bar width", "Bar height", etc. After customization on the panel, Click "Finish & Merge" on "Mailings" tab to finish all steps.
Integrate Barcode into Word Label
Similar to Mailings integration, Label in Mailings can also be easily integrated with Word Barcode Add-In. You may go to "Start Mail Merge" under "Mailings" to click "Labels" and set "Product number" with proper size. Then you switch to "Type New List" or "Use Existing List" under "Select Recipients" pull-down list and click "Create Barcode" in the "Add-Ins" tab to activate word barcode add-in for QR Code.
After a "Barcode Settings" panel pops up on the right side of word document, you can adjust the related parameters respectively, such as "barcode type", "data", "Bar Alignment", etc and click "Update Labels" under "Insert Merge Field" of "Mailings" to automatically put the first QR Code barcode label content into others. At last, all the steps will be finished once you click "Finish & Merge" in "Mailings" tab.
Update for Barcodes in Word
After inserting the barcode in word, you may want to adjust the barcode. In this case, you can customize the properties that you need and click "Update" for a new barcode image.
